Nallely Castro Montoya

Nallely Castro Montoya (she, her, hers) is the Youth Amig@ Coordinator at Casa de Esperanza. She has been working with youth ages 8 to 18 in a variety of capacities for about 8 years. She has a Bachelor’s of Art in Chicano-Latino studies, a Bachelor’s of Science in Family Social Science and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota-Twins Cities. As the Youth Amig@s Coordinator, she provides leadership training and supports the community action projects of Fuerza Unida Amig@s Youth Peer Leaders. She also works in partnership with Latin@ youth to identify opportunities and implement strategies in the areas of community leadership, education, self-sufficiency and agency, health and wellness, relationships and personal advocacy.
